Yes. Due to the length of many of our bus trips, all bus trips will make at least one stop on the way and on the way back. These stops will be at rest steps which allow passengers to get food and use the bathroom. All buses also have a bathroom on board.
Visits are scheduled to last four hours. Visit lengths may be shortened if there is a facility lockdown, delayed count, or other staffing issue. DOC staff will work to ensure that families are able to visit for the duration of the scheduled time.
Do not bring prohibited items on the bus or DOC property. Even if left on the bus, it may be searched. Prohibited items include marijuana, knives, and alcohol. Medical marijuana card does not permit cannabis products on DOC property.
