Transportation
We’re here to help you get there.
Seeing your loved one face to face can mean everything—and we’re here to make that easier. For years, the Pennsylvania Prison Society’s bus service has helped families stay connected by offering affordable, reliable transportation.
We currently provide rides from Philadelphia to four state correctional institutions: SCI Benner, SCI Frackville, SCI Mahanoy, and SCI Muncy.
When you travel with us, your visiting slot is guaranteed for the day of your trip—no need to schedule separately through Keystone.
Our mission is simple: to break down barriers, support families, and make it easier to stay connected through the challenges of incarceration.

We hope that the success of these trips will generate additional funding from the state and from the philanthropic community so that we can offer affordable transportation to all SCIs. Subscribe to our emails to receive updates about the future of the program.
