We are hiring a Pittsburgh Director to cultivate and grow the Prison Society's impact and footprint in the Pittsburgh region. The Pittsburgh Director is the Executive Director's right hand, the on-the-ground relational and operational leader for the Prison Society in the region, and the voice of regional matters on the senior management team.

As an intern at the Pennsylvania Prison Society, you will learn about the issues surrounding prison conditions and the ways in which the criminal justice system and advocacy organizations respond to them. You will also learn about how incarceration affects families and loved ones on the outside. Interns will help us meet the complex needs of incarcerated individuals and their families by participating in the daily operations of our office.
