We are searching for group facilitators in Western Pennsylvania to play an essential role in creating a space where individuals can engage fully with the workshop material and work towards a successful return to their families and communities.

We are seeking a Journalism Fellow to help shine a light on the realities of Pennsylvania’s prison system and the people most impacted by it. Through original reporting, storytelling, and analysis, you will play a key role in elevating underreported issues and raising awareness for our work.

As an intern at the Pennsylvania Prison Society, you will learn about the issues surrounding prison conditions and the ways in which the criminal justice system and advocacy organizations respond to them. You will also learn about how incarceration affects families and loved ones on the outside. Interns will help us meet the complex needs of incarcerated individuals and their families by participating in the daily operations of our office.
