I volunteer with the Prison Society because I want to support my community, which includes folks that have been incarcerated or impacted by the carceral system. I believe we all deserve support and the opportunity to thrive.
The systems we have today weren't inevitable. People made and continue to make choices that result in more prisons, more policing, and more poverty. But just and liberatory communities are possible, and every choice we make is an opportunity to move in that direction. One choice you can make right now is to support the Prison Society as a mentor or prison monitor.
