Is there another chance for women sentenced to prison for life?
A second chance can sometimes lead to a whole new life. Participants in “Dying on the Inside: Women Lifers at Muncy Prison,” a podcast launch and panel discussion hosted by WHYY’s Cherri Gregg, stressed that point. Held on April 22 at WHYY, the event marked the start of a five-part investigative podcast exploring the human, financial, and policy implications of a rapidly aging prison population.
