In divided times, PennLive seeks those who bridge the gap
Each year, PennLive honors people and organizations in our community who advocate for social justice, equity and inclusion. We are seeking to do the same with the 2026 Peace & Justice in PA awards, and we are asking our readers to submit nominees. The call is going out to our readers to nominate outstanding community leaders and non-profit organizations from throughout the commonwealth who exemplify the highest ideals of a just and democratic society. The awards will be presented at the Peace & Justice in PA forum slated for 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, at the National Civil War Museum in Reservoir Park.
