‘I might not make it out’: Alarming accounts of 2 murders in a Pa. prison
At the beginning of August 2024, Pennsylvania Sen. Tracy Pennycuick sent a letter to the administration at the state Department of Corrections. She was angry. A corrections officer at SCI Phoenix, a state prison in Montgomery County, had recently been assaulted and stabbed multiple times by someone incarcerated at the prison.
