Volunteer Prison Monitors with the Pennsylvania Prison Society play a vital role in promoting health, safety, and dignity in PA prisons and jails. Right now, we’re looking for new volunteers who live in or around Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Forrest, Venango, and Warren counties.

What You'll Do:

• Visit correctional facilities to meet with people in prison
• Listen to their concerns and offer empathy and support
• Advocate for their needs and broader prison improvements

Many people in prison feel forgotten and alone. Your time and kindness can remind them that someone cares—and your efforts add up. When people feel supported and hopeful, they’re more likely to thrive—and that means safer prisons and better communities for all of us.
