The Prison Society's Family Transportation Services Program, funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, offers affordable bus transportation services from Philadelphia to 24 state correctional institutions.
Buses travel to each institution once every other month (except Albion,
Fayette, Greene, Laurel Highlands and Somerset, which run monthly) and
tickets are currently $25 per person roundtrip. There
are no buses to SCI Graterford or SCI Chester.
TO PURCHASE TICKETS: You
must stop by the Prison Society's office at 245 North Broad Street (Broad
and Vine), second floor anytime Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3
p.m. or Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information,
